MOVIE INK. is closed this weekend as I’m off to London for a long weekend, nothing serious just visiting friends. As luck will have it my friends haven’t quite the edge they used to have. This means that after only two nights of drinking they feel the need to be pampered like some delicate diva’s in some spa Saturday afternoon. That gives me the time to sneak off and visit the London Film Memorabilia Convention in Westminster where I will try to meet some real diva’s as Saturday is HAMMER & HORROR FILM DAY with this time a lot of special female guests. Initially I was thinking to take some stills with me for selling purposes, but I decided I’d rather spend my time to meet a few of the HAMMER girls and let them sign a few selected stills. That will cost me 15 pounds a pop, but that’s okay every once in a while. I won’t be bothering Caroline Munro as she’s already be kind enough to sign a few in Antwerp a few years ago. However, watch out Barbara, Martine, Madeline, Mary, Kate and Janina, there’ll be a tall, dark and probably hungover stranger coming over.
